A Whirlwind Romance

Lauren & Dave are that couple that you look at and they have their own, unspoken language, they look at each other already knowing what the other is thinking! Theirs was a whirlwind romance of boy meets girl, and they just knew in the early days that they were right for each other, and wanted to make the big leap into Marriage together.

I had the pleasure of doing a solo/empowerment photoshoot for Lauren when she had not long been together with Dave, and the way her eyes lit up when she spoke about him, I had a feeling about them. She mentioned shortly after when I delivered her gallery that she wanted me to photograph their Wedding, when that day should come.

In the coming months they were already happily engaged and planning their day, and I was so grateful to be able to capture it!

"We couldn't have asked for a more skilful, joyous, relaxing and all round genuine person to capture out day."

"We cannot thank Hannah enough for the beautiful photos of our Wedding, they are simply breathtaking! Hannah made it extremely easy for us the entire day, and instead of worrying about what we looked like, we just had the best time and felt so comfortable and relaxed! Not only did she capture our day and produce stunning photographs of each precious moment, she added to how much fun it was! Hannah, we are so grateful that you were able to capture all of the special moments that made up our day so we are able to relive the memories forever."

Lauren & Dave decided to have their Wedding Ceremony, followed by Family and Couples photos at Chateau Wyuna in Mount Evelyn, and their Reception at The York on Lilydale where they had dinner, cake and dancing with their family and friends.

When we spoke after their Wedding, Lauren and Dave had some tips to share with future engaged couples; their main advice being to "slow down", take it all in and don't feel you need to rush through anything - especially "when it comes to The Kiss; pause for a few seconds don't just grab a quick peck (thanks to Hannah for this tip!)"

They also mentioned paying attention to the timeline, allow plenty of time for photos where possible so that other things don't run late with your venue.

"When walking down the aisle, look at your partner and your guests - not your toes!"
