"Who, being loved, is poor?" - Oscar Wilde

Nestled within the lush greenery of Melbourne, Ripponlea Estate stands as a testimony to timeless elegance and refined charm. As a wedding photographer, I had the privilege of documenting an intimate wedding at this magnificent venue. Beyond its breathtaking beauty, what made this event truly special was the undeniable connection between the couple — a connection that illuminated every frame I captured.

I had the pleasure of Meeting this couple at their Engagement Photoshoot - we got the most out of the blue, magnificent weather and sunset for their shoot on the Mornington Peninsula, and we had a blast. Fast forward a few months and due to some unfortunate circumstances within their family, they found themselves planning a very last minute Wedding. I was so grateful to have been able to be available for their day.

Ripponlea Estate, with its historic gardens and stunning architecture, served as the perfect backdrop for this intimate wedding. After the rings were on, papers signed and lots of congratulatory cuddles & high-fives, we had the use of the glorious gardens, and architectural backdrops to take family photos and some couples photos before heading into the heart of Melbourne City with just the couple.

With ample time between the ceremony and their Reception (a private dining experience at the incredible “Society Restaurant”) we were able to wander the city and make use of Parliament House’s beautiful backdrop, along with Fitzroy Gardens, and even went rooftop hunting for a few golden hour photos before heading to the dinner.
